WEISS TECHNIK ACQUIRES CINCINNATI SUB-ZERO (CSZ)

February 1, 2019 - Weiss Technik North America, Inc. (WNA) did not become the number one supplier of environmental test chambers overnight. It took commitment, foresight and a focus on customers—first and foremost. It’s been a long journey, and an important step in that journey was just taken by acquiring Cincinnati Sub-Zero’s (CSZ) test chambers and test laboratories divisions.

CSZ is a leading provider of environmental test chambers. By combining forces, CSZ’s extensive standard product portfolio, in addition to Weiss Technik’s custom-made capabilities, will cover all needs, for all customers, across all budget levels, along with the global services and support they need, from Weiss Technik North America, Inc.

WNA will retain CSZ as a product brand and will continue selling CSZ environmental test chambers with the same level of performance, reliability and service customers have come to expect. Driven by multi-national expertise, WNA will support two product brands with production facilities in Grand Rapids, Michigan and Cincinnati, Ohio. All CSZ employees will be retained.

“We welcome CSZ products to the Weiss Technik family. CSZ’s 78-year history and established market reputation in the environmental chamber market made this a clear choice to further expand our presence in the US market and offer our customers additional products to meet their testing requirements,” said Robert Levert, CEO of WNA.

“This acquisition supports our growth initiatives and will bring further product enhancements and innovation to support our customers with testing solutions designed to meet and exceed their expectations,” said Marc Wolfrum, VP and GM of CSZ.

Weiss Technik North America, Inc. exists to inspire customers—each and every day. With the addition of Cincinnati Sub-Zero (CSZ), they now offer the broadest product portfolio, most future-proof technology, the highest customer service and the most global organization in the market. Weiss Technik North America, Inc. has solidified their spot as the market leader, and plan on staying there for decades to come, serving the ever-evolving industries needs.
